Character Name: Elizabeta Héderváry
Country: The Republic of Hungary
Age: 17
House: Gryffindor
Gender: Female
Personality: Elizabeta has always been a different kind of girl. She prefers to get rough and physical (Physical meaning, she'll beat you with her frying pan) with anyone who sets off her quick temper while at the same time, she acts like the cool, caring older sister. Although some may describe her as bipolar, she is quite cheerful most of the time.
During her youth, she thought herself to be a male. She would imitate what other boys did around her such as, speak quite harshly, train hard, and even pick fights with those around her. She may have come off as a tough little boy, but that didn't stop others from bullying her for the strange things that occurred whenever she was around. When around those who bullied her, she would unknowingly exert her magical power and put her bullies in their places. Elizabeta would often pressure her guardian, Magyar, to teach her more about being witch, or rather, wizard at the time. She only wanted to prove to herself that she could be just as strong, physically, and mentally.
After realizing she was actually a girl, Elizabeta immediately took on feminine qualities. She became a sweet and gentle girl, (well, most of the time anyway) who's cheerful smile could brighten any one's day, even her own.
Believing her only feminine side should show, she pushes her male mindset in the back of her head only letting it show on occasion. In her heart, she still has the feeling of wanting to be a stronger person, which she knows will never leave her. She is always looking to best others, mainly boys, at anything she can. Elizabeta sets out to prove herself to well, herself and maybe even to the one who's worthy enough to steal her restless heart.
Background: Elizabeta was born from two magical parents, who could be described as borderline,"loving" parents. Her birth was unintentional as for her parents were minions of Pangaea. They had sworn to serve Pangaea till their last drop of blood kissed the face of the Earth. Figuring it was for the best to hide their mistake, they took their newborn to a wizard they knew who opposed Pangaea, who went by the name of Magyar. In their own minds, Elizabeta's parents believed they did the right thing because Pangaea would never suspect that her minions' accidental child would be residing with someone who speak against her. Magyar, who knew nothing of this ploy, still took the newborn child in.
Elizabeta was raised in what could be considered by her standards, a happy home. She would often play with the neighborhood muggle boys as well as fight with them. A year before she was supposed to enter Mountaintop Institute, Magyar revealed her past as well as the fact she was magically gifted, which Magyar realized as soon as he held the baby that was left on his doorstep. Elizabeta was quite pleased as to find as she was a witch and happily awaited to learn at Mountaintop Institute. Elizabeta learned what she could from Mountaintop Institute and learned on her own from books hidden in the depth's of Magyar's basement. Elizabeta opposed everything Pangaea did and was often reprimanded for repeating things Magyar would say under his breath.
After the war and what seemed to be the endless years of learning at Mountaintop ended, Elizabeta eagerly awaited her new year at Hogwarts with a wand in her right hand and her trusty frying pan in her left.
RP Sample: Elizabeta couldn't believe she was going to Hogwarts. Her heart raced with the excitement of new challenges, new people, and learning magic she had never been taught. She cheerfully packed all her belongings while quietly humming a sweet song.
When she finished packing, she walked over to the mirror that resided on her dresser. She looked at her reflecting and brushed the strands of hair that hung in her face off to the side. A small orange daisy freshly picked from the garden laid upon her dresser. She gingerly placed the flower in her hair, trying to hold back the strands that were in her face before.
"A new beginning, huh? I'm ready... for anything." The flower that was placed so cautiously and slowly in her hair, succeeded in holding back her hair.
She turned to her suitcase and hoisted it over her shoulder. She giggled at the unladylike action and walked towards the door. Elizabeta glanced at her room, memorizing every detail before she left. She wanted to remember this place. All the happy memories she had in her life were spent in this house.
She opened the door and hesitated for a split second trying not to look back. "Oi! Magyar! I'm ready!" She yelled from the doorway. "I'm ready..."
