Once upon a time there was a little girl named Ashley Conner born to muggle parents in Wales. When she was small, all sorts of weird things happened around her. When she was angry or scared or felt any strong emotion at all, unexplainable bouts of magic would erupt from her. Her parents wrote it off as coincidence and went on with their lives. When she was eleven, she got a letter in the mail from a school in Scotland, informing her that she was a witch. Glad for the explanation, her parents immediately took to the idea as they were always close to their only child and could never hold it against her.
Her years at Hogwarts were exciting and cherished, and she would always come home with new spells and stories for her parents. She was a happy girl and quite gifted as a witch. She made a lot of friends in Hufflepuff, the house she was sorted into, though she was teased by blood purists.
She pined the ministry in the department of experimental skills. While she was working one day a spell backfired, and she was hit. The spell caused her to age quickly. When the mediwitches and wizards at St. Mungo's informed her there was nothing she could do she set to find out a way to stop the spell herself. However, she was cut short in her search by Voldemort's return, abandoning her search for the cure to an extended life span. She joined the order after Phoenix to combat him.
While there, she met and fell in love with a man named Liam O'Brian. The two were married and they lived fairly happily until Voldemort's takeover of the ministry and the consequential persecution of muggleborns. She went into hiding, but was soon caught. Later in Azkaban, she found out that Liam had betrayed her to the Death Eaters so he could be rid of her and marry a beautiful but haughty pureblood witch.
After she heard the news she began to go insane, the presence of Dementors only making things worse. She began to hate magic and anyone who practiced it, especially all purebloods.
When she was released, she began gathering like-minded people around her, mostly muggleborns who had been persecuted in the war. They called themselves Earth's Children while she took on the name Pangaea and began to gain power. However, before she could take over the world she had to find a way to reverse the curse.
She found an the old recipes for the Philosopher's Stone, hidden on a bleak mountain top in the Pyrenees. She found that if she made a small stone and embedded it in her head the elixir of life would flow directly into her and reverse the curse, as well as grant her immortality.
Armed now with an army of followers and immortality, she took over the entire wizarding world almost in one fell swoop. She banned all magic that was not for common household chores, and only her followers were allowed to use spells for attack and defense, most of which were dark and deadly.
She founded her mountaintop institute on the same mountain she had found the recipe for the philosopher's stone. Then one day near the start of summerannual June battle of good vs. evil, anyone? a young American boy named Alfred F. Jones, assisted by the resistance, broke into her chambers and challenged her.
Refusing to use magic, she took away his wand and demanded he fight her using only muggle weapons, of which he had none. She pulled out a gun and started shooting at him, but by the grace of God and the devil's own luck he managed to avoid every shot. She managed to clip him in his knee and drive him to the ground.
Standing over him she started to give the usual villain's monologue, not noticing that he had grabbed an old worn out hat out of his pocket. Just as she noticed that he had it and that it was the famous Hogwarts sorting hat he reached in a pulled out the sword of Gryffindor, using her surprise and closeness against her and driving it through the stone on her head.
Because of the curse she began to age rapidly, her body dissolving into dust. So ended the life of Ashley Conner, a happy child who'd grown up to be the most powerful dark witch the world had ever seen.
